PsychoeduCare is a trauma-informed organization dedicated to emotional well-being, psychoeducation, and holistic healing. Our mission is to provide compassionate clinical care, structured educational tools, and human rights–based advocacy for individuals and families navigating grief, migration, forced displacement, human trafficking, domestic violence, and substance abuse. We specialize in evidence-based approaches, including EMDR therapy, trauma-focused counseling, and psychoeducation for survivors of violence. Through clinical expertise, community engagement, and innovative resources, PsychoeduCare empowers people to rebuild their lives with dignity, resilience, and hope.


  • Founder and President

    It all starts with an idea. For Anamary Cruz, that idea was to transform her passion for healing and defending human rights into a professional mission. As a clinical social worker, certified trauma therapist, author, and educator, she envisioned PsychoeduCare, LLC as a space where clinical expertise, comprehensive care, and human rights come together. Her mission is to accompany survivors of trauma, migration, grief, domestic violence, substance abuse, and human trafficking with dignity, resilience, and hope. Through collaborative tools, evidence-based therapies, and a commitment to trauma-informed and culturally sensitive practice, Anamary has created an organization dedicated to holistic healing, rebuilding lives, and strengthening communities.


  • Clinical Director and Coordinator of Therapeutic Services

    Fabiana leads PsychoeduCare's therapeutic programs with a holistic approach based on trauma and human rights. She specializes in clinical supervision and coordinating services for individuals, families, and communities affected by depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, substance abuse, domestic violence, and forced displacement, among other issues. Her mission is to ensure that all people receive compassionate, evidence-based, and culturally sensitive care that promotes resilience, holistic healing, and dignity.

  • Santa Rivera

    DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AND PSYCHOEDUCATION

    Santa Rivera is deeply committed to advancing education and psychoeducation as tools for individual and community transformation. Her areas of expertise include working with diverse populations, families, youth, and children, as well as individuals facing mental health challenges. She focuses particularly on supporting those struggling with human trafficking and immigration.

    In her role, Santa designs and coordinates educational strategies that integrate knowledge with accessible resources, ensuring that individuals and communities are equipped to develop healthier and more resilient lifestyles. Her vision is to empower people to overcome adversity, strengthen their capabilities, and thrive within their families and communities.

  • Paola N. Cruz Negrón

    DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND ETHICS

    Paola, a native of Bayamón, Puerto Rico, is completing her final year in the Master of Clinical Social Work program at Florida State University, where she has an exceptional grade point average of 3.98. She began her academic career at William Penn University in Oskaloosa, Iowa, where she earned a bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in psychology before pursuing her passion for clinical social work.

    Her professional experience includes an internship at the University of Florida's CHAMPS Psychiatric Hospital in Gainesville, where she developed skills in clinical care and therapeutic support, as well as counseling children and adolescents at Saint Francis Catholic Academy in Gainesville.

    Within the Department of Social Responsibility and Ethics, Paola brings her academic excellence and experience to promote ethical practice, cultural sensitivity, and a holistic approach to care. She is committed to ensuring that PsychoeduCare's services are guided by integrity, accountability, and a respect for human dignity.
